Multi day residential program that focuses on transition to college, culminating with students beginning their college applications while on a college campus.
Individualized sessions with student and their parents/guardians to review required documentation and deadlines for FAFSA and various scholarships.
Academic and College Literacy Advisors and seniors engage in an interview process that is aimed at helping them to select the appropriate prompts. The essay writing, editing and polishing process will go through college applications submission deadlines.
Summer session for CARS students begins at Centinela Valley Union High School District and at El Camino College. Students attending El Camino College are eligible to receive CSU and UC credit.
